Go to God!
2 Kings 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.![]()
This is a very familiar scripture in the life of Hezekiah. He was sick unto death and was granted an extra fifteen years by the Lord. As you read the scripture, it depicts him turning his face to the wall and praying to God. He did not turn to man for an answer but turned to God. He reminded God of how he walked before him in truth and had a perfect heart. He reminded God of the good things he did in His sight. In times of trouble, he went to God, and this is a lesson for us. Knowing the troubles of this land, this country, our homes, and our jobs, we need God for His insight and help. Our trust should be in the Lord and not man. Our trust is not in the White House and never has been, regardless of who may be sitting in the Oval Office. Brothers let’s not doubt our abilities to get our homes and our lives in order and continue to seek God for guidance. God will increase our years if we continue to serve Him and not man. Our allegiance is to God, our Father in Heaven. God to God!
